Our Introduction to Early Childhood prepares you to make an immediate and profound difference in the lives of young children. BristolWORKS! will introduce you to Early Childhood education, discuss the importance of quality early childhood educators, review the responsibilities and expectations of ECE workers, teach about child development and special needs, and connect you with early childhood workers and directors.

Students completing the program will be able to find employment in daycare centers, preschool programs, Head Start programs, or similar settings.

The Course

This course provides students with an introduction to working with children within daycares, preschools, and child development settings. Shadowing opportunities are available in order for students to get a hands-on experience within the field. Students completing the program class will be able to find employment in daycare centers, preschool programs, Head Start programs, or similar settings immediately upon completion.

Additionally, BristolWORKS! offers a number of other programs.
